Details of this Role:
The Content Marketing & Brand Specialist role combines the creative and strategic aspects of content creation with the responsibility of building and maintaining a strong brand presence. Our Specialist will develop, execute and report on innovative content strategies to enhance brand awareness, engage target audiences, drive demand and fuel pipeline growth. This role is responsible for creating, curating, and distributing a variety of content types, distributed in multiple formats, while also ensuring brand consistency and presence across all channels.

This Content Marketing & Brand Specialist role plays a critical role in shaping our agency's brand and reaching our target audiences through valuable and engaging content. The ideal candidate will be experienced at creative storytelling and strategic planning to achieve marketing goals for Alloy.

 
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Content Strategy & Management: Contribute to and execute content marketing strategies, including planning content themes, topics, and formats, as well as establishing a consistent brand voice. This will be done together with Alloy leadership and subject matter experts.
  • Content Creation: Write and manage content across various formats, including blogs, articles, social media posts, videos, email newsletters and website copy while also finding ways to reuse existing content to maximize its reach and impact.
  • Brand Management: Ensure that all content aligns with Alloy’s brand identity, is in Alloy’s brand voice, is accurate and engaging and optimized for SEO and lead generation.
  • Content Planning: Lead the creation and maintenance of the annual content calendar, ensuring alignment with marketing campaigns and channels.
  • Project Management: Coordinate projects and deliverables with internal SMEs to ensure that all campaigns are executed on-time.
  • Social Media Management: Own content execution for Alloy’s Linkedin and Instagram accounts. Engage with followers, respond to comments and drive conversations to enhance brand presence.
  • Reporting & Optimization: Track key metrics to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions to optimize engagement and performance.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, bulding relationships with designers, strategists, leadership and other subject matter experts to create high-quality content. 
  • Event Coordination: Support the execution of and promote in-person and virtual events. This includes hosted events, partner events, event sponsorships and speaking engagements for the Alloy team.
  • Industry Trends and Emerging Technologies: Stay up-to-date and continuously learn about new content marketing tools and techniques along with understand how to adapt to the constantly changing marketing landscape.
What We'd Like To See (Skills and Qualifications):
  • 5-8+ years experience
  • Must have previous experience working in a marketing, advertising, media or creative agency.
  • Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to craft compelling and engaging content. 
  • Strong knowledge of SEO. Understands best practices and how to optimize content for search engines.
  • Expert level social platform experience
  • Strong project management skills and an ability to generate new ideas
  • Data-driven with an understanding of content performance metrics and how to optimize for impact
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and company leaders
  • CRM expertise (Hubspot experience preferred)
  • Seasoned in a client services organization, preferably on accounts within an digital agency or top tier consulting firm
  • Proven ability to nurture and curate a brand’s image and reputation and proven track record in growing brand presence
  • Proactive, self-directed, self-starter
  • Eager and hungry 
  • Proven ability to proactively manage and set client and internal team expectations in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment
  • Effective time and resource management
  • Integrated and digital marketing acumen and credibility
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
  • You know this software like the back of your hand: Microsoft Office Suite, Mac OS, GSuite, Hubspot, Wordpress, Google Analytics, SEMrush, MOZ, project management software. Excellent slide presentation building skills.
  • You are familiar with: Basic HTML, Cision/Vocus, Crunchbase, third-party B2B review sites, Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, SproutSocial, paid social media and search platforms
  • Deep understanding of and passion for B2B tech innovation 


Responsibilities:

Alloy Sales 
  • Inspire and support the sales and marketing team while achieving performance metrics and devising strategies for new client engagement.
  • Support and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets.
  • Understand and communicate the organization’s value propositions through published content.
  • Project manage the strategy, creation and execution of content management for the agency’s marketing efforts.
  • This includes orchestrating the collaboration of Alloy SME’s, Department & Crew Leads to create social posts, blogs, insights, gated content and research.
Alloy Marketing
  • Support customer success by delivering marketing asset creation that serves as upselling enablement materials and compels Alloy’s ICP.
  • Collaborate with CCO on Alloy brand identity and visual evolution of the Alloy Brand related to Sales and Marketing materials.

Management
  • Assist with effectively managing Alloy’s annual marketing and sales operating budget.
  • Manage up and across to ensure the leadership team is informed on key initiatives and goals.
